One Fell Swoop: pieces for layering

One Fell Swoop opened their VAMFF (Melbourne Fashion Festival) show with a black velvet dress that draped and flowed like liquid. The heavy fabric didn’t set the scene for the show but the liquidity did, the velvet followed by a precariously-cut tunic made from sheer fabric and a haphazardly draped aurora of gold sequins. More delicate sheers, bursts of shimmer, and interesting asymmetrical cuts followed in what proved to be a collection perfect for either the bold, or those fond of layering.
