La Parade Merveilleuse was the name of Stine Goya’s spring / summer 2013 collection, as presented at Copenhagen fashion week (CFW)… And here was a collection that adhered to Goya’s brand philosophy of catering to people who seek individuality in the everyday. That means something of a tightrope walk between the fantastical and the marketable, a line Goya walks with precision.
Relaxed cuts were livened up with washes of watercolour-like prints, metallic gold gave a glamorous edge to particular outfits, and a carnival theme was subtly reflected in details like buttons or an all-over harlequin print desaturated into shades of grey.
