Thakoon fall 2013: warmth in winter

In plain cold February, nothing could sound more tantalizing than the thought of summertime, and keen on capturing its sublime atmosphere, Thakoon Panichgul left women dreaming after the unveiling of his fall / winter 2013 collection. In a sea of cold black, Thakoon’s idea of prolonging summer all throughout fall and winter felt as warm as a ray of sunshine. There were dragonfly motifs to keep the magic going and delicate lace inserts to secure the sunny season’s light reflection.

From there, his superb dandelion prints joined forces with other ones, just as majestic, mostly representative of beautiful flower fields ready to evoke the spirit of summer all over again. The color palette, equally gentle, equally refreshing was dipped in shades of lavender, light pink and bright blue, among the classics of black, white, beige and brown. For evening, the Thakoon woman stuns in black, playing a game of subtle seductiveness while keeping things simple and chic. Just like the illusive dandelion embellishments speaking highly to the point.
