To the Australian fashion week (MBFWA) menswear collective, Zsadar brought asymmetry and curved hemlines that mimicked the trends on the women’s runways, reinterpreted to give men’s basic pieces a unique boost. These neatly toed the line between wearable and interesting, all executed in a palette of neutral and organic hues that kept the spotlight on the little twists and details.
Edgy metal accessories wooed the camera lenses and helped the label put on a visually grabbing show, even if the market appeal of those particular pieces will be limited. Judging by the crowd’s reaction these skeletal showstoppers did exactly the trick: winning over fans who may not buy them, but will remember the Zsadar name and potentially invest in the more basic pieces as a result.
