Brooklyn Motors launched in the spring of 2010, but the upstart NYC label was inspired by an event that took place more than a century before they started putting their artfully wrought graphics on high quality, U.S.-made slub cotton T-shirts. In September of 1903, the Kings County Wheelmen of Brooklyn met with a number of well-known motorcyclists to create the group that would become the American Motorcycle Association, and since then, the borough has been a backdrop to the evolution of the modern cyclist. Brooklyn Motors’ graphic tees translate that history into soft, stylish shirts that look great whether you’re riding a vintage Harley or just running to catch the subway.
