Florsheim by Duckie Brown

In 1892, Milton Florsheim founded his namesake footwear brand out of a small factory in Chicago, Illinois. From the beginning, the company’s aim was to produce stylish, comfortable, high-quality shoes. And sure enough, over the course of its 119-year existence, Florsheim became renowned for solid, and somewhat staid, footwear — that is, until it began a collaboration with Steven Cox and Daniel Silver’s daring NYC–based menswear line, Duckie Brown. The resulting shoes — brogues, lace-ups, boots, and more — split the difference between great designs that recall Florsheim’s storied past and the edgy colors and textures that could come only from Duckie Brown.
