Native Shoes

When Damian Van Zyll de Jong founded Native in Vancouver, Canada, in 2009, the goal was to create “footwear for the future” that would take cues from the stories past of sneaker design. The brand’s colorful kicks recall classic models from such standbys as Converse, Vans, and Clarks, but they are rendered in perforated EVA full-injection-molded material. The effect — light, casual, and with a timeless silhouette and an ultramodern look — may explain why the label has been gaining so much attention from industry insiders, and why we’ll be hearing about Native shoes for a long time to come.

When: 14 February 2012 - 17 February 2012
Open: 12:00AM - 12:00AM
