In 1976, Robert Cohen created Private Member, a clothing brand that was extremely successful in its native Canada. More than three decades later, Cohen decided to create a younger, more contemporary line. The result? Projek Raw: a streetwear-informed label headed up by Cohen’s son Dov and son-in-law Ariel Hassan. Since its 2007 debut, Projek Raw has gained popularity in the U.S. for everything from tailored outerwear to distressed denim — all shot through with a modern, yet rugged, vibe.
