Zuriick got its unofficial start a few years back, when Michael McCaleb and Chad Tovey were looking for the perfect pair of shoes. Sadly, they couldn't find anything they felt lived up to the title. So they made their own. Zuriick was officially founded in 2006 in Salt Lake City, with the goal of offering footwear that’s simple, lightweight, and stylish. After an initial run of 300 pairs of the original Ake model, the idea caught on, and gradually the company's range expanded. The collection now encompasses a full line of shoes, boots, and sneakers, but the philosophy and commitment to straightforward quality remain.
