The cover of the May 2013 issue of L’Officiel gave us a bobbed Barbara Palvin, but Cuneyt Akeroglu’s pictorial of the model from the same issue takes a different approach: ’80s Americana.

There are more ways than one to get a bobbed hairstyle – and not all of them include scissors. Covering the May 2013 issue of L’Officiel Paris is what we can only assume to be a faux-bobbed Barbara Palvin, hair slicked back and bluntly bobbed, complimented by natural bronzed makeup.

L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) is starting in just a few days, and along with the host of runways made available for the public to attend, there’s also the chance of running into the gorgeous Barbara Palvin. The Hungarian model and L’Oréal Paris global ambassador is being flown to Australia as a special guest of the festival, which runs from the 18th – 24th March.

Barbara Palvin just has an incomparable kind of beauty that turns any photo into captivating viewing. Victoria’s Secret were wise enough to catch onto the fact, having now cast her various times across look books, in the Victoria’s Secret 2012 fashion show, and now in their Holiday 2012 campaign.

With perfectly groomed brows, winged eyeliner and a flicked-up 1960s style blonde bob, Barbara Palvin looks utterly divine. This sneak preview comes via her instagram account from behind the scenes on a photoshoot. As for which shoot, we’re not yet sure. But we can’t wait to see it.

It’s as much anticipated for its high energy performances and props as it is for the actual lingerie… and each year Victoria’s Secret delivers something that’s as bouncy and glittery as you can possibly imagine.
