Update: We’ve expanded the gallery attached to this post with the full look book from Americana Manhasset. Coco Rocha. Americana Manhasset. The inimitable beauty of Venice. There could only really be magic at the end of this venture, and with pieces from the likes of Dior, Hermes, Michael Kors and Alice & Olivia (the latter of which is pictured below) there was little chance of…

When a new camera comes on the market, we’re all lights, camera, ACTION! Be it the latest SLR, the newest iPhone App or a new way of shooting Lomo, we’re undoubtedly all on board. From candid catwalk snaps to luxurious editorials, photography fuels fashion. Now that the novelties of Hipstamatic and Instragram are wearing off, and the vintage vinette of the Diana camera is getting…

A tribute to Alexander McQueen‘s artistic output presented in Vogue US is an awe-inspiring retrospective of the stellar career, and a thorough preview of the upcoming Savage Beauty exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute on May 4th. Alexander the Great is a beautiful story of the fashion pioneer and Enfant Terrible in one. Following the meaning of this figurative title, Alexander undeniably…

When I penned a commentary about the leather harness morphing from fetish to sophisticated luxury, this is exactly the styling I was referring to: it may still be pushing the boundaries, but it’s worn in an entirely different way. It’s clearly a day in which we’ve been fixated with 2011′s hair trends; first we looked at the year’s hair colours, and now Coco Rocha catches our eye having forgone her red locks in favour of a short black hairstyle.

Models always seem to have uber-cool city apartments. And having now seen the inside of Coco Rocha‘s – a chic residence in Manhattan’s elite Gramercy Park – we can confidently group her as part of that pack. Coco (and husband James Conran) left the task of decking out the home to an interior decorator, which goes a long way to explaining the almost-too-cohesive furnishings and…

It’s a pretty big call, but Elle UK think they’ve managed to single out the 25 most key clothing pieces of all time and work them into one big (and admittedly stunning) shoot. So how do Elle turn key pieces into key styling ideas? Take some cropped cigarette pants and a cashmere sweater, some Breton stripes, or a shearling aviator jacket and watch the rocking…

We wish we’d see more of Coco Rocha. She can pose, she can inject personality and emotion into every shot; and more to the point she’s just plain gorgeous. But Coco isn’t all that’s worth viewing in this shoot from Vogue Mexico’s September 2010 issue. Each outfit is thematically styled to an icon or era, from the ladylike ’60s to the sophisticated ’70s, the glamorous…

After a little bit of a hiatus, Coco Rocha pops up to remind us what it is we love about her. Coco goes from a tribal Rodarte warrior, to a feathered angel, to a quirky clown; all without skipping a beat.
