Fall In Love with Eniko

That’s not so much a direction or request (doesn’t it go without saying?) as it is the title of her latest editorial for Elle Brazil. Shot by Gui Paganini, Eniko Mihalik stars in the magazine’s June 2013 issue in a shoot titled Fall In Love – styled by Renata Correa into furs, tailored suiting and some sexy bare skin.

Eniko Mihalik in peek-a-boo Roberto Cavalli

The 2013 amfAR Gala – held at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes – was the sort of affair where glittering dresses all competed for attention. There’d be no way to pick a winner: there were simply too many beautiful attendees. Eniko Mihalik wore a cutaway dress from the Roberto Cavalli spring 2013 collection, paired with classically glamorous waves.

10 of the best magazine editorials of 2012

I’ll disclaim from the outset that the title of this post is inaccurate: “best”, when it comes to any form of art, is subjective. There’s no right or wrong on what can be called the best when it comes to fashion shoots, but there’s only so much you can explain in a title so I’ll say it here instead. There are certain editorials that stand…

A minimalist Eniko Mihalik

Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik covers the December 2012 issue of Numéro China with a minimalist expression, a minimalist coat from Celine’s winter 2012 collection and contrary hair.

Eniko, the punk Statue of Liberty

Looking like she belongs somewhere between a fetishist dungeon and Liberty Island is Eniko Mihalik, dressed in stars and crowned in black vinyl and spikes. The shot is from the cover of Japanese magazine Huge, shot by Benny Horne.

Eniko Mihalik as the blonde Belle de Jour

From the wigged blonde hair to the reminiscence of 1960s fashion: there’s no mistaking that Eniko Mihalik is a reimagined Belle de Jour. Based on the 1967 film starring Catherine Deneuve, the shoot is faithfully styled by Barbara Baumel and has a cinematic quality to it. Somehow, though, Vincent Peter’s shots are lacking the emotion Eniko usually brings to a shoot.

Eniko by Von Unwerth reminds us of a pre-Raphaelite nymph

What do John William Waterhouse and Ellen Von Unwerth have in common? Not much, and the two probably don’t find themselves side by side in a sentence too often. Von Unwerth’s works are often brazenly erotic; Waterhouse’s only subtly so. But looking at Von Unwerth’s latest shoot for Vogue Italia, starring a nymphesque Eniko Mihalik, thoughts are drawn to parallels of Pre-Raphaelite beauties.

Eniko: siren and sex symbol rolled into one

The cover already wowed us, now here’s the rest of Eniko Mihalik’s equally wondrous cover shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Spain. Shot on the rugged coastline of Costa Brava, Spain, Nico’s photographs of Eniko Mihalik peg her as siren and sex symbol in one.

Eniko the Nymph

What more beautiful and clever use of a reflective surface than in this shoot by Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton? The styling by Franck Benhamou points to the same creature as does the shoot’s title: Nymphe. At times looking the water nymph in azure blue or sequins, at others Eniko Mihalik is swathed in ruffles or fresh flowers appearing as a mythological sprite of…
