And so for Red Valentino’s fall / winter 2013 collection – with its gingerbread prints and folkish charm – it’s damn near…

There was a time when tailored suits and skeleton facepaint never chanced to meet – except, perhaps, upon the most dapper of Halloween goers. That was before Rick Genest (aka, Zombie Boy) drew mainstream fashion and full-body tattoos a little closer together. Whatever it was that inspired T.Lipop to contrast their sharp suits with makeup that turned models into sorrowful skeletons we do not know;…

Thick, vertical black and white stripes. By that description such a print could easily be mistaken for a Halloween costume where Beetlejuice is the inspiration. But outside the Louis Vuitton show at Paris fashion week Taylor Tomasi Hill boldly took the gamble and won. Though also spotted around town wearing the same pants with a simple and sophisticated shirt-under-knit combo, for LV she took to…

It sounds nuts to write it but doesn't sound as nuts to read it, so here it goes: Christian Siriano's fall 2012 collection was inspired by horror films. Specifically a vampire one. Halloween designer costumes? Not quite. Though Siriano did offer up to New York fashion week (NYFW) plenty of vampish looks.
