The cover already wowed us, now here’s the rest of Eniko Mihalik’s equally wondrous cover shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Spain. Shot on the rugged coastline of Costa Brava, Spain, Nico’s photographs of Eniko Mihalik peg her as siren and sex symbol in one.

Looking every bit as enchanting as a female Colossus of Rhodes would, Hungarian beauty Enikő Mihalik covers the June 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Spain.

Every fashion trend has its poster-girl. The sapphic and androgynous did, as did rock, but the 1950s fashion trend revival has to find its own. Or has it? For the second time in as many months, model Miranda Kerr graces a magazine’s pages transformed from Victoria’s Secret bombshell into mid-20th Century pin up.

It starts with heiress Lydia Hearst, hands grasping tiny hips, in Louis Vuitton’s ladylike ensemble of pastel lace and peachy statement collar. From there Benjamin Kanarek‘s shoot moves through a series of cinematic frames, each styled with a ladylike softness that’s nepenthe to any memory of the model having ever posed with skin-baring abandon in front of Terry Richardson’s lens. Minimalist fashion magazine covers are all the rage right now, and with a perfectly balanced approach (well, perfect if you block the barcode from your mind) Harper’s Bazaar Spain nails the look with both minimalist typography placement and a minimalist approach to clothing. It’s not precisely how you’re likely to frame your own spring 2012 fashion choices, save for when you’re getting dressed, but on…

The concept of taking the 1950s bombshell look out of Europe and planting it in the streets of Brooklyn is given a little bit of rawness by way of Terry Richardson’s hand. But even so, it’s pure femininity in each and every shot as Miranda Kerr struts the gritty Brooklyn streets in what Harper’s Bazaar bills as ‘unforgettable daywear’. But while ‘daywear’ may be a…

If you were to really break it down, you could say that Anthony Vaccarello burst onto the scene not with a stand-out collection, or with a new idea, but with a singular dress. Well ok, he also won the 2011 ANDAM prize and wowed with a showstopping spring 2012 collection in general, but it was the cutaway gown worn by Karlie Kloss on the runway…

There’s a reason why cowgirls and diamonds don’t go together, and it has something to do with the practicality of cantering around on horseback while being conscious that your precious jewels don’t fall off and get trampled into the dust. But fashion is all for being gleefully estranged from reality, just as it’s all for taking the costumes and uniforms of various cultures / jobs…
