H&M calls it “Spring’s Key Pieces”, and their spring / summer 2013 look book does offer up plenty of those – especially if you’re inclined to draw your inspiration from the fashions of the 1960s. Starring a fringed Magdalena Frackowiak, the look book brings skinny cuts and graphic black and white prints together with edgier, more androgynous leather jackets and collared shirts.

Animal motifs may be finding their way onto our fall 2012 clothing, but the real things haven’t gone unnoticed. From Magdalena for Pani to Naomi Campbell for Harper’s Bazaar Russia, seems fashion is always partial to a fluffy bunny or two.

If androgyny is an attitude, than Magdalena Frackowiak is the model to pull it off. Yesterday we looked Mango’s spring / summer 2012 look book and, from a perspective of the success of Zara versus Mango, focussed on why Zara gets the buzz and Mango little love. You can add another element to the equation today: inconsistency.
