These kind of theatrical, grandiose shoot concepts seem to often be reserved for the pages of US Vogue and the creative eye of Grace Coddington. Despite having amazing gowns and opulent 1920s styling, the star power of Carey Mulligan, and the lens of Mario Testino, this one somehow falls a little flat and feels a little too staged.
