The dark fairytale of the new season and a city befitting of it… Inside the pages of Harper’s Bazaar Turkey, Marloes Horst looks even more striking than she does on the issue’s cover, particularly in shots where the roll-neck sweaters give way to sequin gowns or androgynous tailored suiting.

Magazine covers don’t often dare to desaturate. But this one for Harper’s Bazaar Turkey, starring Dutch beauty Marloes Horst, pits greyscale photography against hot pink text and its the former that wins. Marloes’ strong gaze strict side parted hairstyle dominate the magazine’s September 2012 issue in the best kind of way.

Given just how captivating her features are, clothed or otherwise, it seems that Marloes Horst is one of fashion’s more underused models. That’s a fact which is slowly reversing, however, with Horst adding the fall / winter 2012 underwear campaign for Emporio Armani to her portfolio.
