It’s been a long wait for Londoners, but Victoria’s Secret have finally opened their Bond Street doors today. The lingerie brand planned to open the store during the London 2012 Olympics before a postponement was announced. The store’s official first day of trading came without any of the fanfare you’d expect from the brand though, with no Angels blowing kisses or cutting red ribbons.

For those in London who prefer pampering to polo and makeovers to mountaineering, Chanel are supplying a sizeable distraction to all thing Olympic. Their pop-up beauty boutique opens on July 24 in Covent Garden’s Market Building, spanning two floors and including the likes of makeover stations and a manicure salon. The pop-up is scheduled to stay open until December.
