Rodarte’s fall down under

Not everyone loves a sunburnt country, but those who do may just find themselves smitten with the latest collection from Rodarte. With it's relatively short history as a nation, Australia rarely gets a look in, internationally, as a source of fashion inspiration. But something in the red dust, the Aboriginal dreamtime, the sweeping deserts and surrounding seas captured the imagination of designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy so much that the great landmass became the basis for their fall 2012 collection.
