We’re into February and well beyond thinking about our 2012 calendar situations. But while it may be too late to make it into our calendar round-up, it’s never going to be too late to enjoy viewing this calendar from VMan’s 25th issue. Shot by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Carine Roitfeld, this one gets 12 of the biggest models and Victoria’s Secret angels into its…

Cinematic, in a word. Jil Sander’s spring 2012 campaign puts dark edges on a clean, bright collection; Hitchcock-like in its cracked drama. Aquascutum‘s tagline is Understated British Elegance… and boy do they live up to the title with this campaign. The gents’ wear is sharp and refined. The photography by Willy Vanderperre is striking against the drama of stormclouds and fluttering wind. And the potential austerity of the collection’s buttoned up collars, long skirts and camel coats is nullified by the attitude with which Karlie Kloss wears…

In a short space of time, Kate Moss has managed to demote herself from being model-of-the-decade to being almost completely irrelevant. The thing we miss most is Kate’s once-unmatched sense of style, although when it comes to photoshoots she occasionally likes to remind us that she still has it. And by ‘it’ we mostly mean great bed-hair.

We’ve seen clashing prints and contrasting textures as a central feature of many pictorials lately. Though I can’t say any have had clashing layers quite so interesting and excessive as those worn by Eniko Mihalik in the Spring 2010 issue of AnOther Magazine.
