Cutting edge: the Aram Metal Collar

Clean yet dark: two words that describe the Aram metal collar from Dannijo’s latest collection. Perfect as a perfect cyberpunk-cum-goth piece or even as a statement piece in line with the women’s tuxedo trend, the necklace is handmade in New York.

Chanel biker boots

By no means new, but still making waves on the streets, the Chanel biker boot is part future warrior, part cyberpunk, but wholly the must-have Chanel boot for the season. There’s an up close look at the boots after the jump.

Dark dreams and poison apples: i-D Magazine

Ten models, a dark dream, and a poison apple. Fashion’s obsession with all things Gothically dark and a little bit twisted is staying its course. Photographer Daniel Jackson shot this editorial for i-D Magazine in black and white, featuring many an outfit inspired by fetish fashion, including leather clothing and this wickedly studded corset which is like the one worn by Rihanna.

Rihanna loves her spikes and chains

When we saw Rihanna leaving this hotel room in NY, we weren’t surprised to see her return to a favourite trend – accented shoulders. She wore a red hooded dress with shoulders covered in silver spikes and chains, the overall look being very cyberpunk mixed with fetish fashion. This time, the star also showed us exposed stayups and her post-breakup haircut.

Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte, Spring/Summer 2010

Is there a more talented, stand-out shoe designer in the world right now than Nicholas Kirkwood? At times almost alien in their design, Kirkwood’s shoes are architectural and fantastical all at the same time. Kirkwood’s collection for Rodarte Spring/Summer 2010 has qualities of the industrial, and the dystopian. And with hardware nuts stacked up as the heel and spikes around the ankle, they’re also cyberpunk…

Kristen Stewart in Rodarte thigh-high boots

As far as the thigh-high boots trend goes, we’re expecting Rodarte’s version to get plenty of exposure in photoshoots and editorials. The wound-and-bound cyberpunk undertones of the boots are a good match for neo-grungette Kristen Stewart, who was snapped on the set of an Allure photoshoot wearing a pair.

Beyonce’s Cyberpunk Glove Love in Giant Magazine

We first spotted Beyonce wearing her Cyber Glove at the MTV European music awards, securing her a tick for this season’s cyberpunk fashion trend. It looks like she simply can’t get enough of it, this time she seems to have decided to bring the glove to her photo shoot for Giant Magazine, and while usually I’m not her biggest fan they did a fantastic job…
