Hedi Slimane‘s finished product showed a serious-as-usual Freja Beha Erichsen; while this beautiful shot of Freja smiling didn’t make the cut. Titled ‘Temps Libre’ (Free Time) the pictorial is actually focused on watches, so it’s no real surprise these un-accessoried shots were excluded. Beautiful none the less, you can view more outtakes at the gallery below.
PETA often campaigns with their catch cry, “I’d rather go naked then wear fur”. However at Vogue Italia this mantra must certainly not apply. As evidenced by the cover of their November issue the editors would rather you be naked whilst wearing fur. Also leather.
Less than a month in to autumn / fall 2010 and I suspect that many a fashioniser already has their eyes firmly set on 2011’s fashion offerings. Looks like Fashionising.com favourite Abbey Lee Kershaw will be joined by a surprising accomplice in Chanel’s winter 2010 advertising campaign. In an inexplicable win for Karl Lagerfeld it seem he’s managed to land the sasquatch as a feature model, matching the camera-shy megafauna’s pelt with Chanel’s fur boots.
You’ve got to wonder if Karl Lagerfeld was just messing with our heads when he shot these photos of Baptiste Giabiconi wearing more eyeshadow than his three female companions. At the end of the day though, all I’m really paying attention to is Abbey Lee Kershaw with a cute big 60s hairdo. Way to steal our attention, Karl.
