Update: if you’d like to know how to create the look for yourself, visit our Chanel glittery eye makeup tutorial. It’s as much anticipated for its high energy performances and props as it is for the actual lingerie… and each year Victoria’s Secret delivers something that’s as bouncy and glittery as you can possibly imagine. While this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show won’t be broadcast until Tuesday, Dec. 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, that doesn’t mean we can’t get some sneak…

Her boxy vintage car…

The notion of the next top model has long made for good television viewing, all the while having close to no impact on who really becomes a top model. The Natasha Polys and the Arizona Muses of the world didn’t grow strong careers through stints on reality TV. What then will influence who really becomes one of the models who’ll capture our attention and spur…

A tuxedo doesn’t just offer the wearer a sharp outfit option; it bestows a kind of confidence. When wearing one, it’s hard not to saunter into a room with the masculine-meets-feminine swagger of a Marlene Dietrich or a Katherine Hepburn. A soft, ultra-now take may not meet the same level of imposing tailoring and structure; but the essence of the tuxedo seeps through. The confidence…

With any Chloe collection comes a certain expectation. Its an expectation of effortless glamour, an expectation that you’ll fall in love at first sight with the soft Parisian quality and mood of the clothing. How new Creative Director Clare Waight Keller will interpret the Chloe mood and how her designs will line up with those expectations won’t be seen until spring 2012 hits – but…

For the younger fashioniser with an eye for the eclectic, the look book for Galliano’s spring / summer 2011 collection offers up layering and attitude in equal parts.
