Daniela De Jesus Cosio is like a glamazonian superhero

On Daniela De Jesus Cosio’s glamazonian body, any styling would do. She’s all slender and elongated and possessive of that envied thigh gap the internet is always up in arms about. But while Daniela could look glamorous in a paper bag, this is a team effort. Pierre Dal Corso‘s latest shoot for Galore Mag is about bringing together Daniela’s natural beauty with the kind of…

Lady of the butterflies

The character: a lady in red. The setting: a curtain of  butterflies caught in a still dance. The story: might as well be just about anything and everything, for where there’s beauty, a little bit of magic and a strong desire to get lost in a fantasy, the mind starts wandering and the imagination starts working, tying the invisible lines all on their own. With…

Prolonging the sweet taste of summer

Down by the pool, the air will always smell of summer; add a clear sky, a burning sun and a hot piece of swimwear to the breezy setting and the afternoons become all about capturing and prolonging the magic of the sunny season. And perhaps one fine day doesn’t make a summer, but it is quite enough to fuel the spirit with the freedom and…

Don’t close your eyes, or it will all fade away

Whatever theme it may be looking upon, whatever door it may open, one can’t help but recognize the indescribable sensation attributed to the kind of editorials that succeed in teleporting a soul to a place in the future, in opening a portal through time, in offering a glimpse of the world as it might become. A fix for the imagination, a tribute to modern art,…

Rhiannon in lingerie on the back seat of your car: the cure for Mondayitis

That Peter Coulson‘s latest shoot came with the title For Your Eyes Only part 1 was the result of much optimism on my behalf. Not only does any work by Coulson shine like a light through the overcrowded gloom of my inbox, this one was alluding to James Bond films, Kisskill lingerie, Rhiannon Tragear-Ragg, and the promise of more parts to come.

Alive or undead, vampires are pure indulgence

It’s been long since we first witnessed all things vampiric taking over the realm of fashion, yet the influence of the underworld doesn’t appear to have lost its intensity, nor its drawing power over the years. Like superheroes but way more stylish, creatures of the night with no endings written for any of them, restless souls who have their identity carefully built upon layers and layers…

For Love & Lemons Knitz A/W ’14 look book

What would it look like if For Love & Lemons created a knitwear line? Like a feast of instant cult hits – styled, of course, to neo-grunge perfection. Debuting for fall / winter 2014, the brand’s “Knitz” line works cropped woollen sweaters, cable-knit flares, knitted sheath dresses and oversized beanies into a too-cool vision of sex appeal.
