I haven’t fallen head over heels (pun intended) for a pair of shoes in a while. And then along came these ones by 3.1 Phillip Lim. There’s just something about the shape, the detail; the striking mix of textures and blocky cut wooden platform heel; all coupled with the fact that they look sturdy and wearable and versatile. They’re somehow not too much and yet they’re enough.
Colourful, novelty statement heels they are not; but a unique take on the staple black heel? I’d surely not turn down a pair.
