Under the catchy name of United Nude we can discover an inventive footwear brand with architectural inclinations. The label is renowned for innovative ideas and appealing designs implemented on shoes with the twist of practicality as well. With the increasing number of United Nude enthusiasts, the brand experiments on the different currents of inspirations. For their spring / summer 2012 collection the label presents imaginative shoe models ranging from Japanese-adorned Geisha wedges, classic Folds and ‘Möbius’ shoes (to newcomers – a mathematically precise 90 degree heel), intricate Web and Crazy Lacy bootie. Influenced by numerous cultures and styles United Nude keep their signature with a great diversity of block colours as well as vivid accents of contrasting hues.
Founded in 2003 by the architect Rem D Koolhaas and shoe maker Galahad Clark, the label became an established pioneer of innovative elegance with clear concepts. Gathering the community of creative minds at a worldwide extend, United Nude very effectively joins forces with talented designers including Iris van Herpen. The successful collaborations with fashion designers result in well commented limited editions of catwalk footwear.
