Daily Desire: Help I need Mittens!

I was talking to Daniel today, and I asked him a most pertinent question: "Do you think that people our age wearing mittens might just look a little insane?". His reply, "Of course not". He might have just been humouring me but the challenge was set before me; find a pair of mittens that I could wear (when winter comes not now, cause that would just be insane). Apparently it's not that easy, I've come across countless mittens that look like they belong with a parka, and these are not what I was looking for at all. I want something knitted, something that reminds me of my childhood, except you know... not sown into the sleeves of my jumper. I was becoming disheartened until I came across these;
