Wrote 'Abbey Lee's cowgirl shoot for POP: preview'
I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one out there who has a massive girl-crush on Abbey Lee Kershaw. So I can further conclude that I'm not the only one who's looking forward to seeing the finished product of her shoot for POP Magazine. We've already seen a behind-the-scenes video of Abbey Lee, a collaboration by wardenclyffe and photographer Richard Prince; and now here are some preview pictures from the cowgirl-inspired shoot.

More futurism and sci-fi hits the pages of the February 2010 issue of 160g. With sci-fi fonts to match, the Bionic Art issue is fully themed up with space invaders and dark creatures. A Landing Not Totally Under Control is just one pictorial from the issue, photographed by Urivaldo Lopes.

Wrote 'One Teaspoon's waistcoated warrior'
Here's a piece that's so perfect for the future warrior trend that I couldn't not give it a mention. Black leather with metal eyelets and studs, One Teaspoon's gladiator inspired Mistress Leather Vest could really be made to work in many different ways.

Wrote 'Rania rocks Zara Young for Spring 2010'
Fashion chain Zara gets youthful and fresh for their Spring 2010 Young range. Full of grunged-up looks with printed tees, ripped denim, and leather jackets, the lookbook has some cool young looks for both boys and girls.
Rania Mordanova also models a rather perfect example of how to wear the hair bows trend without going for a big girly headband. A simply scarf tied in a bow can have a vintage charm, or an element of rock-chic depending on how you dress it.

Wrote 'Tap shorts and lingerie in Harpers Bazaar UK '
I just adore the idea of tap pants as a trend - being the more casual, more feminine cousin to hot pants, they're also less demanding on one's figure. Giedre Dukauskaite wears a gorgeous blue pair in this shoot for Harpers Bazaar UK, along with some other pretty lingerie as outerwear looks.

Wrote 'Street style: loooong hair'
2010's hair trends have - in some cases - taken a drastic pendulum swoop away from bobs and crops, landing firmly in the uber-long category. That's not to say that some short styles aren't still in (read the full 2010 hair trends bible to find out more), but simply that lengthy locks are a refreshingly sexy look right now.

Wrote 'Lara Stone is impossible: more Love Magazine'
So many uber-sexy pictures keep arising from the current issue of Love Magazine that odds are some brains are in serious meltdown. And if you're not one of them yet, then just wait until you see Lara Stone's naked pictorial for the issue.

Wrote 'Marloes Horst youthful for Blanco'
It's easy to forget that Marloes Horst is still just shy of 21. Wholly sultry and usually cast in shoots involving some degree of nudity, it's almost weird to see just how cute and fresh-faced Marloes can look. Blanco featured her in their Spring 2010 lookbook, wearing many a young and casual outfit.

Wrote 'Abandoned but wearing McQueen: Glass Magazine'
Are we at all surprised that Alexander McQueen's seriously inspired sci-fi fashion pieces are fast becoming the editorial favourites du jour? Not in the least. Just think of all the creative shoot concepts and locations you could dream up in order to work in this trend. I mean, who wouldn't want to lie around on the paint-splattered concrete floor of a dirty, graffitied, run-down building while wearing designer couture? And I'm guessing it will only get better from here.

Wrote 'Blue planet, red world: Harpers Bazaar'
Set against a backdrop of red, rocky terrain, this shoot from Harpers Bazaar UK's March 2010 issue is all about blue. The pairing of tribal jewellery with dresses in various shades of blue - from rich azures through to deep navy - is a clear and striking theme against the rocky red, while the styling adds a mildly futuristic feel to it all.

Wrote 'Street style: urban warrioress'
Since taking this in-depth look at the future warrior as a thematic 2010 fashion trend, I've been waiting patiently for some good street style examples to arise. This one hails from Singapore, and though simple enough, evokes the warrioress theme by way of the exposed shoulders, over the knee socks, and the spiked tribal jewellery.

Wrote 'Blonde brows and bows: Vogue UK'
Patricia van der Vliet's blonde eyebrows and fair curls make her the perfect candidate to work the bow headband trend with girlish charm. Shot by Mario Testino, Vliet models soft colours and cascading ruffles in a tribute to youthful femininity.
