The Olsen twins are still pushing round John Lennon-esque sunglasses as a sunglasses trend, though we’ve seen very few other examples of the style. Bright pink patent wasn’t exactly an accessory trend we were anticipating… though Chanel have said it would be so. Mary-Kate Olsen wore one of their belts with a black Calvin Klein playsuit to the after-party of a 21 screening. Though pink patent may not be for everyone, she is certainly well on trend with the chunky jewellery she’s wearing.

Sunglasses trends for 2008 are branching out beyond the Wayfarer (read the full article about 2008′s sunglasses trends here). One of the trends we’ve noticed is the round, John Lennon style lense; while we’ve also noted that aviators are still going strong. Mary-Kate Olsen bundled those two trends into one recently, spotted out and about in a pair of rounded, aviator-style sunglasses with gold frames.
