Diane Kruger wears the fur and sheer trends

Much to the dismay of animal welfare groups, fur is a major fashion trend in 2008. But after two rather unfortunate examples of fur-wearing by Mary-Kate Olsen and Lindsay Lohan we weren't entirely sure how far it would go. Then along comes Diane Kruger to show fashionisers everywhere exactly how the trend should be done.

Arriving at Chanel's Spring 2008 couture show, Kruger wore a cropped fur jacket over her little black dress from Chanel. Another perfectly on trend piece, with its midriff evoking the sheer fashion trend.

I think the two trends are a fantastic pairing for her. The fur and little black dress bring in a timeless elegance, and her soft up-do means the overall look is neater while the Chanel headband and bag compliment perfectly. But the inclusion of the sheer trend adds an entirely new dimension to the elegance, highlighting both her youth and sex appeal.
