Heather Graham in see-through top

Written by Daniel P Dykes

Flagging career? The publicity needed for a comeback is pretty easy to come by - find one of this year's fashion trends, preferably the most risqué, and wear it on the red carpet.

Did we mention the most important element: get it wrong.

Heather Graham see through top

That's what actress Heather Graham did most recently. Graham stepped out recently wearing 2008's sheer / see-through fabric trend, and got it fairly wrong. With two velvet petals attempting to cover her breasts, Graham's bra remains clearly visible.

While one interpretation of the sheer trend is to show a little more skin than usual, Graham's pairing of it with a short denim skirt and an odd pair of boots (they don't match, do they?) just comes off as trashy. Sadly.

Graham isn't the first to get the sheer fashion trend wrong, and we've seen equally as scary from singer Amy Winehouse. Thankfully we've seen both hypermodel Kate Moss and actress Diane Kruger make the trend look hot.
