Lindsay Lohan: red plaid tights

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Lindsay's latest foray into the plaid trend. The outfit is strangely like the inverse of this one. Interesting prints on tights can be a good thing, but the bright red tartan on these doesn't quite compliment Lindsay. In fact, they draw one's attention so much that you'd barely notice her nipples are showing.

What she has done, though, is step out in something a bit more unique and daring than her more recent outifts, so we have to give her that.

How could Lindsay have make this look better?

For someone very tall and leggy, this print would work with a minidress in a 60s kind of way. I think a smaller check would be more flattering on Lindsay Lohan's legs, or a longer dress so there was just a peep of the bright print.
