Roland Mouret?s ?Galaxy? dress hit the racks in 2005, it quickly became a favorite in the celebrity world - with stars like Rachel Weisz, Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johannson and Naomi Watts stepping out in the creation. Word spread about the figure-shaping properties of the dress, and it became famed for supposedly turning any women into a 50s-style sex-kitten complete with Marilyn-esque hourglass.
Since Roland Mouret?s dress became the most coveted dress around, a multitude of copies and variations have popped up around the world. The latest: Marks and Spencers "MagicWear" range, which claims to mimic all the body-shaping properties, only without the designer price-tag.
It may not look much - but this review by the Telegraph was glowing. For prices ranging from ?65, the price is certainly a plus.
