Nerd chic - designer gadgets are on the rise

Somebody said to me that brains are becoming the new beautiful, while I don't completely agree it seems that we're having an influx of luxe designer gadgets to fulfill our needs. It seems to have all started with the D&G V3 with the high end designer house jumping aboard the already popular Motorola phone and adding a little bling. Soon after, we saw Prada team up with LG and bring out the very chic Prada phone one of the very first to have what is quickly becoming the feature du jour: the large touch screen.

Now the latest designer to throw their hat into the ring is Giorgio Armani, pairing up with Samsung to bring their offering of the new Armani phone which unsurprisingly is packing a touch screen too. To mix it up a bit they will also be bringing out a TV amongst, from what we've heard, a bevy of other household electronics.

To tell you the truth my next phone is going to be the iPhone, and I think we're going to be seeing a lot more of those distinctive white headphones hanging out of this season's designer handbags, but hell I don't know about you but I think I'm really looking forward to my LV + Braun monogrammed toothbrush, or maybe a leopard print laptop?
