We've not really been the biggest proponents of the maxi-dress trend for casual wear. They can look dowdy and are no-where near as fun as the little leg-exposing minis we're so in love with. But Nicole Richie managed to make this maxi-dress perfectly complimentary to her baby-bump - she looks elegantly thrown together and feminine but with a bohemian edge.

There aren't too many alpha-females out there and, though she might deny it, Tania Braukamper certainly exudes their qualities.
