Want some inspiration for how to make layerings of rings look great, without going completely over the top? Right now we’re loving the look of hippy, 70s inspired mood rings and cabochons. Think Abbey Lee Kershaw (one of our favourite models, who’s rarely seen without them) and you’re on the right track. Rather than punky skulls and knuckeldusters or the overly blingy sparkly cocktail rings, try stones like turquoise, amber, aquamarine, garnet, lapis lazuli and onyx.
Another hint: layer up, but don’t over clutter. You can also tie in thematic 2010 fashion trends like the future warrior (you’ll see some cool armour-inspired rings after the jump) and the tribal trend.
