The metallic gold seen on the spring / summer 2012 runway is a romantic reminder of the luxury and rustic glow the colour entails. The colour adapts itself to the fabric it’s paired with; it’ll look liquid gold in some collections, while elsewhere, rural hues of warm gold or burnished gold take over.
