Ok, so ponytails and fringes aren't exactly new. But we think Kate Moss looked hot recently wearing her hair up in a fresh schoolgirl-esque ponytail with fringe. Oh yeah, and it might also have something to do with the super-tight black leather jacket and latex pants.

Pobs and bobs are quite commonplace at the moment, but the pixie-crop is that one step more daring. We noticed a few pixie-crops going around though - and Elisha Cuthbert is the latest celebrity to join their ranks.

No, this isn't some flashback post. For that we apologise. But while the rest of women rush out to get 'the Kate', Kate Moss' new fringed hair style, UK 'model' Jordan, aka Katie Price, seems intent on proving that you can never be too eighties, too plastic, or too orange.

Promoting the new Jordan Haircare line recently, Price stepped out to also seemingly promote pink sailor outfits and terrible hair styles. What that says about the haircare products heaven can only know.
We've told you how to get the Kate Moss fringe including who should try it, and how to style it. For more styling ideas check out Kate posing for her latest Rimmel campaign.

Victoria Beckham might have a new hair style, but that hasn't stopped a hoard of other celebrities and socialites getting the pob hair cut for themselves.

This is why I've always labelled Kate Moss a hypermodel. Leave it to the supermodels to just look hot in everything, but only Kate Moss earns the higher honour as she not only looks like sex personified, but sends women crazy looking to replicate her oh-so-hot looks.
And it's absolutely no different with Kate Moss' new hairstyle, complete with fringe (or bangs to those in the Americas). We're already dubbing it 'The Kate' - it literally is 'the new Rachel'. Take for instance the claim form the Independent that the fairer sex are "queuing in their thousands to get the slightly retro look" - not bad news for Toni & Guy and other high-street hairdressers. Nor for James Brown and his Kate Moss influenced hair product line.

We've definitely had much discussion about the blunt-cut fringe as a hair trend for 2007 and 2008 ever since it hit the runways on the likes of Freja Beha Erichsen, Heidi Klum and others. Just when we thought hypermodel Kate Moss wasn't going to follow the hair trend, she stepped out with her hair stylist James Brown sporting this very style. And with the two launching a hair care line soon it's perfect timing - and marketing - to make the change.

Well known for their bobs are Rihanna and Victoria Beckham, but flashback a couple of years and Beyonce was starting the trend with her hairstyle in the filmclip for 'Me, Myself and I.'

Not long ago, we wrote about how hair styles have been changing over time, with Jennifer Anistons hairstyle being left behind.
Now Rihanna has come out with a blunt concave bob cut, which I think looks great. It is a very drastic change, but it is edgy and grabbing compared to her softer lock look. The blonde tips looked too washed out and have thankfully been replaced with midnight black which enhances her tanned skin.

Throughout time, some of the more obvious celebrity hair trends have come from Farah Fawcett, Marilyn Monroe, Lady Diana and of course Jennifer Anniston with her 'Rachel' cut from Friends.
