Kruger has had some amazing Chanel moments recently, and though she has no trouble pulling off the man-style dinner jacket and bow-tie look, the cut on this little number doesn't quite do her justice. 
Natalie Portman wears nude fashion trendThere's a distinct advantage to being a celebrity: access to the coming year's clothing trends before us mere mortals. Diane Kruger wears the fur and sheer trendsMuch to the dismay of animal welfare groups, fur is a major fashion trend in 2008. But after two rather unfortunate examples of fur-wearing by Mary-Kate Olsen and Lindsay Lohan we weren't entirely sure how far it would go. Then along comes Diane Kruger to show fashionisers everywhere exactly how the trend should be done. Arriving at Chanel's Spring 2008 couture show, Kruger wore a cropped fur jacket over her little black dress from Chanel. Another perfectly on trend piece, with its midriff evoking the sheer fashion trend.
Tuxedo style: fashion trend of 2008Kate Moss has already showed us how to sex one up; and now, 2008 is officially the year of the tuxedo jacket. Did I say jacket? I meant suit. Or shirt. Or pants. Art Deco trend at Spring 2008 Couture showsThere's been a strong trend towards Art Deco influences which started last year and is certainly carrying on in 2008 as predicted. The latest Spring 2008 Couture shows have demonstrated plenty of 1930s - 40s elegance and Art Deco-inspired elements.  Art Deco details from Chanel and Armani Prive couture Chanel used sequinned and beaded fans on dresses, while Armani Prive carried distinctly deco shapes on belt buckles and dress centre-pieces. Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank attended Armani Prive's Spring 2008 Couture show wearing an Armani lingerie-inspired gown with sheer spider-web panelling.
