Fur is back in a big way OR it's all gone wrong for PETA. The ever stunning Alessandra Ambrosio is the latest celebrity to wear 2008's fur trend.

The blunt-cut fringe trend is going from strength to strength at the moment, and ever since Kate Moss got hers it's shown no signs of slowing down. In fact, we're tipping it to be one of the major hair trends for 2008.

I can't say for certain whether it's all real or faux; but it seems fur has become more popular again recently as a trend.
Sarah Jessica Parker teamed a full brown fur coat with elements of the cyberpunk trend while the Olsen twins have been wearing plenty of fur, from throws to collars to coats.

White fur has been a hit this week with the likes of Kate Moss and Kate Hudson (below).
Bright red lips can be a disaster - but, as Adriana Lima shows, they can also look fresh and sexy. Adriana made her lips the focal point of this outfit by wearing full black and going a bit lighter on the eye-makeup. We've seen how blonde bombshells wear bright red lipstick but Adriana's dark hair puts a different twist on the trend.

Whether stylish hits or glaring misses, there's one thing can be said for Rihanna's fashion sense: it always grabs attention. Her bold attempt at the animal print trend recently was way off the mark, with her too-clingy floor lenth leopard print gown compounded by some rather nasty streaks in her usually elegant hair.

What's going on Rihanna?
Sunglasses trends went from round and oversized to rayban wayfarers (the likes of which we've seen on pretty much every celebrity and their dog). Aviators are another style that's sort of been in there the past few years, not quite dying out but not quite coming to the fore.
We noticed Kirsten Dunst had recently ditched her wayfarers for an aviator style. For those in the sunny side of the world coming into the warm weather, what sort of sunglasses styles will you be wearing?

I wasn't too impressed with Lindsay's choice of grandpa cap the other day (sorry Lindsay), although it seems a lot of you were much kinder. Personally I prefer Lindsay in this straw fedora-type thing she's got going on.
Ok, so ponytails and fringes aren't exactly new. But we think Kate Moss looked hot recently wearing her hair up in a fresh schoolgirl-esque ponytail with fringe. Oh yeah, and it might also have something to do with the super-tight black leather jacket and latex pants.

We've mentioned the roaring 20s and cyberpunk as two starkly contrasting genres influencing fashion at the moment. But do we also detect a hint of Fantasy in there too?
Serpentine symbols have been getting their fair share of the spotlight in jewellery and accessories lately. Fairytale capes, ice-queen makeup and flowing black have made their appearances on the runway in fantastical form. Add to that the 'Neverending Story' shoot that appeared in October's Dazed and Confused, and you have yourself a trend.

The metallics trend has been going on for some time now, while the backless trend is something that's just really starting to pick up pace. Adriana Lima wore both recently teamed with a sleek ponytail.

In a bid to avoid doing the 'Heidi' Adriana wore nude underwear (from Victoria's Secret, we'd presume?) and let that peep through the dress rather than showing her, ummm... skin.
