I've always had reservations about red, as I've mentioned before but am starting to think that maybe bright red can look elegant after all. First it was Natalie Portman, now it's Kate Moss.
Kate was looking amazing shooting Donna Karan's Spring 2008 campaign in LA.

The brown leather waist belt makes the dress feel more earthy rather than over-the-top glamorous, while the deep front and long split show the right amount of skin. Again, Kate shows us that a smaller chest can work fantastically with a low-cut neckline.
For me, Lindsay's just not rocking this grandpa cap. Even though they're cute, the grandpa cap wasn't on our list of hat trends to wear in 2007-08 because they had their day a few years ago and aren't quite ready to get another airing just yet. Well, that's to say, unless someone with more influence than Lindsay decides to bring them back.

With Lindsay being so hit and miss at the moment, the grandpa cap is likely to stay buried.
Pobs and bobs are quite commonplace at the moment, but the pixie-crop is that one step more daring. We noticed a few pixie-crops going around though - and Elisha Cuthbert is the latest celebrity to join their ranks.

You know how we looked at the return of the backless dress? Well it seems Heidi Klum has gotten the hang of the trend... a bit too well, actually.

This will probably sound weird, but I've always been a sucker for movies and books that focus on bleak, dystopian futures where the boundaries of humanity are blurred, and the earth is on the edge of chaos and destruction. I thought perhaps there was something slightly wrong there, but turns out I'm not the only one after all. Cyberpunk influences have been infiltrating designer collections; even those from who you'd expect nothing less than dainty refinement (we're looking at you Christopher Bailey).

Wondergirl shoot; outfit by Jessie Hill; Chloe Boots; Sean Young in Blade Runner.
So what is Cyberpunk?
Kate Bosworth mixed it up a bit for the Vacheron Constantin Platinum Excellence timepieces collection launch in New York City. Wearing a foho 70s paisley print dress, colourful scarf and black tights and boots, she also threw in a touch of the back-baring trend we've been seeing a lot of lately.

The outfit was given a bit of edge by the studded detail.
For today's celebrity trend round-up we're looking at outfits from three different movie premieres.

Kate Moss may have brought PVC pants into the spotlight but original bad-girl Angelina Jolie just wanted to remind us that leather pants have always been her thing. She wore this black rock-chic ensemble to the London premiere of her new film, Beowulf...
No, this isn't some flashback post. For that we apologise. But while the rest of women rush out to get 'the Kate', Kate Moss' new fringed hair style, UK 'model' Jordan, aka Katie Price, seems intent on proving that you can never be too eighties, too plastic, or too orange.

Promoting the new Jordan Haircare line recently, Price stepped out to also seemingly promote pink sailor outfits and terrible hair styles. What that says about the haircare products heaven can only know.
The boyfriend shirt is a wonderful thing. It gives the impression of having just woken up in the morning, throwing on your boy's white shirt and looking sexier than ever, because it's just so darn simple and effortless.
There are a few different ways to pull off this look, Alessandra Ambrosio demonstrates one of them above, while Keira Knightley rocks another in the photo below.
I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Lindsay's latest foray into the plaid trend. The outfit is strangely like the inverse of this one. Interesting prints on tights can be a good thing, but the bright red tartan on these doesn't quite compliment Lindsay. In fact, they draw one's attention so much that you'd barely notice her nipples are showing.
What she has done, though, is step out in something a bit more unique and daring than her more recent outifts, so we have to give her that.

How could Lindsay have make this look better?
